Presentations
Training for Licensee & Train the Trainer
Seminars
Course Outline:
This course proves once again
that Baker Communications has been leading the
way in corporate training for more than a generation.
Our Exceptional Presentations course is still
unsurpassed in offering tremendous value to students,
no matter what their previous skill level may
be.
In spite of all of the emphasis
today on doing business at a distance via phone,
cell phone, email, Internet, and fax, some things
just work better face to face. This includes presentations
of all types. Staff meetings, board meetings,
sales meetings, PTA meetings, etc. – when
you must inform key decision makers efficiently
and effectively, there is no substitute for a
compelling presentation.
However, many of your staff members
are probably intimidated at the idea of getting
up in front of a group, especially with important
decisions on the line. It doesn’t have to
be this way. Our Exceptional Presentations course
provides all the tools you need to help you teach
your staff to deliver highly effective presentations
with confidence and style. Of course, we cover
all the basics – projection, enunciation,
posture, etc. But we also help you to develop
the 1-2-3 punch of content, tone of voice and
body language that is the secret of professional
speakers and media journalists. We even help you
understand different personality types and what
each type is unconsciously listening for, so your
people can craft their presentations to appeal
effectively to the audience members you most want
to influence. During the class, students will
practice new skills during a series of 10 video
taped mini-presentations. As students review each
session with the help of a personal coach, they
will be able to refine their skills as they learn
them.
